Designed by Biltmore House architect Richard Morris Hunt, our graceful glass-roofed Conservatory was built in 1895, rebuilt in 1957, and restored in 1999. The Conservatory provides flowers and plants for Biltmore House and tender bedding plants for the gardens—just as it did in George Vanderbilt’s day.

Brimming with a glorious array of colorful blooms, the Walled Garden is a beautiful outdoor celebration setting that features limitless dramatic backdrops—including the Conservatory—for a lifetime of magical memories.
