Mindfulness Walk

Biltmore’s woodland trails and fields are the perfect place to sharpen focus, bring clarity to your thoughts, and set intentions for the future. This gentle, one-mile morning walk experience invites you to slow down, connect with nature, and live fully in the present moment. During your guided walk, you’ll receive simple reflection prompts that encourage the full engagement of your senses as you move mindfully within the natural beauty of Biltmore’s great outdoors.
Maximum of 10 participants. Advance reservations required. To participate in this activity, guest must have a daytime ticket, a Biltmore Annual Pass, or a stay at one of the estate’s splendid overnight properties.

Morning Meditation
Calm your mind and focus your thoughts and energy with this gentle, guided experience designed to support optimal well-being, and empower you to greet the day relaxed and refreshed. Appropriate for all experience levels, from first-timers to experienced practitioners, this meditation takes place on the beautifully manicured lawns* adjacent to our historic Horse Barn. Cushions available. Guests welcome to bring their own towels or mats.
*In the case of chilly or inclement weather, meditation will take place in an indoor location.

Morning Yoga
Complimentary for all overnight guests of the estate, this unique yoga experience focuses on wellness, balance, and rejuvenation in a quiet setting at Biltmore’s four-star Inn.
This activity takes place in a spacious banquet area at The Inn; weather permitting, activity takes place outdoors. Location is subject to change. No mat required; towels and sanitized yoga mats provided. Wear comfortable clothing. Activewear available at The Marble Lion retail shop at The Inn.

Mandala Making from Natural Elements
Discover the history and types of mandalas, as well as the basic shapes, designs, and natural elements used to create them during this fun creative outdoor activity! Participants will explore our fields and forests to find materials with which they will create their own personal and unique mandala. After ending the session with a collective moment of reflection and gratitude, the group will gift their creations back into the natural world from whence they came. Be sure to bring your phone or camera to capture a keepsake image of your mandala!

Chocolate Meditation
Indulge your senses with a truly unique guided meditation experience featuring delicious chocolate selections such as peppermint honey, lavender citrus, and vanilla orchid. This activity is great for chocolate lovers who are also interested in the benefits that meditation and focus can bring to their overall well-being. It is also the perfect introduction to sensory meditation experiences for those new to mindfulness practices.
Guests will enjoy a beautiful outdoor setting on the estate, with an optional indoor space in case of inclement weather. Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing (layers suggested for temperature fluctuations) and to bring water or other beverages. Chocolate and meditation cushions will be provided, but guests are welcome to bring their own towels and mats.
