• Do your restaurants have a dress code?

  For The Dining Room at The Inn, Casual Elegant/Cocktail attire* is required for dinner for all guests over eight years old: collared button-down shirts, slacks (or well-kept denim), blouses, dresses, and skirts. Resort Casual attire is appropriate for breakfast in The Dining Room, as well as for all meals at all other estate restaurants.

  For Library Lounge at The Inn, Resort Casual attire* is recommended; Casual Elegant/Cocktail (collared button-down shirts, slacks (or well-kept denim), dresses, and skirts) is also welcome and encouraged, particularly for evening cocktails and entertainment. If denim is your preference, dark denim is appropriate.

  *Shorts, flip-flops, hats, ripped or torn clothing, and athletic attire are not recommended, and pajamas, swimsuits, and bathrobes are not permitted.

• Does Biltmore cater to special dietary needs?

• Can I pack a picnic?

  Picnics with outside food and beverages are permitted in the following locations:

  • The sloped lawn in front of Diana*
  • Bass Pond and surrounding trails
  • Lagoon and surround trails

  *Space may be limited when private events are in progress.

  We invite you to visit Guest Services for additional picnic spot recommendations. 

  • Tailgating, including the use of tents, grills, multiple camping chairs/tables, and large coolers, is not permitted in Biltmore parking lots or on the grounds.
  • Outside food and beverage is not permitted in estate dining locations, Antler Hill Village or Biltmore House areas, including the Front Lawn area of Biltmore House, Stable Courtyard, and South Terrace.
  • No outside alcohol is ever permitted on Biltmore property.
