George and Edith Vanderbilt hosted guests at their elegant, relaxed country estate for weeks, even months. Today, you’ll find just as many entertaining opportunities to escape the everyday at Biltmore. In fact, you’ll find so many ways to unwind at Biltmore, a week may not be enough. Here are a few suggestions:

Visit the newly-opened Architectural Model Room, where Biltmore House architect Richard Morris Hunt's 9.9-foot long and three-foot tall model of the house is displayed, along with duplicates of original house plans, providing guests a glimpse into the architectural intricacies of the house.
