Candlelight Christmas Evenings
November 6, 2009–January 2, 2010

Firelight and candlelight fill the house with a warm glow and accent delicate ornaments and priceless treasures. Get into the holiday spirit with choirs singing European carols, vintage ballroom dancers, and dramatic Christmas readings. The Front Lawn of Biltmore House sets the scene with a sparkling holiday illumination of evergreens bathed in thousands of twinkling lights.


Choose the Candlelight Visit that Suits You

After you select the date to visit below, you'll have the option of choosing a Candlelight Ticket or a Candlelight Ticket PLUS. Here's the difference:

Candlelight Ticket: includes evening admission to Biltmore House and daytime estate visit to Biltmore's Winery, Gardens, and River Bend Farm.

Candlelight PLUS Ticket: includes eveniing admission to Biltmore House AND same day or next-day daytime admission to Biltmore House, Winery, Gardens, River Bend Farm, and more.

  • Reduced-price admission tickets are available for visitors with disabilities. Learn more with our accessibility information.
  • Tickets are not refundable: If you are unable to make your scheduled candlelight visit, you may use your ticket for a daytime visit before March 31, 2010.
