I’ve only had my pass for a couple of years now, but I love it. I was persuaded by a friend who had a pass to get one on my first visit. I am thankful I did. Biltmore Estate is where I go to relax and rejuvenate. I also go to touch history. Walking through the house, I can see how it was a wonderful place for the Vanderbilts and their guests to enjoy. I recommend to everyone to visit.

Sometimes, I just bring some friends for lunch after church on Sunday, just to walk around in the beauty of the estate, and these beautiful mountains we call home. It is also a wonderful place for my family of four sisters and a brother to have a tailgate party and attend an outdoor event in the summer.
My most memorable occasion is when my 7 year-old grandson was reading about castles, forts, etc. He had seen the estate from Brevard Road, but never up close. I brought him and a friend with her granddaughter for a full day with lunch. It was so exciting for them.

I have been a Biltmore Estate Equestrian Passholder for a number of years. I love having the opportunity to ride my own horse on such a beautiful estate. The trails are well marked and interesting. I never have any fear while riding there. And the best part is that it is only a 20-minute drive from my barn. And with the membership that I have, I can enjoy everything about the estate! We visit the house and gardens several times a year, hike the walking trails, and do so enjoy the Summer Classic horse show. Biltmore Estate has so much to offer that we consider our time spent there a mini vacation.

My husband and I fell in love at Biltmore Estate on the front lawn near the center fountain. We arranged our honeymoon around our annual trip to the estate. And we have our most romantic dinner of the year there every December as we visit for Candlelight Christmas Evenings. We consider Biltmore Estate our romance capital of the world.

A Twelve–Month Pass can be a glorious hike with the kids, an excuse to browse at unique shops, a delectable lunch at the Stable Café, or an elegant walk with the dog! We can visit a favorite azalea in the spring, check to see if that bossy goose is still at the Bass Pond, or savor a cream puff from the Bake Shop while gazing at Mount Pisgah. I like to imagine that the Vanderbilts have invited me as their guest. I can spend the day if I want, but it’s okay just to pop by for an hour or two. I’ve had an annual pass for many years; it’s a treat to myself that I can’t imagine giving up.

I am in love with my Twelve–Month Pass, because I love:
- Walking hand-in-hand with my husband through the Rose Garden and Conservatory
- Hiking the trails with my cousin
- Attending special events—especially those with musicians performing in various locations
- Sharing the Biltmore with a friend or family member
- The luxury of having a place for contemplation where beauty and serenity surround me
