Biltmore For Your Home — The Facts

Asheville, NC
Biltmore is the 1895 property of George Vanderbilt, located in Asheville, NC. The family home, Biltmore House, is a 250-room French Renaissance chateau, the largest private residence in the country, and a National Historic Landmark. Richard Morris Hunt designed the mansion and Frederick Law Olmsted, landscape architect of New York's Central Park, landscaped the original 125,000-acre estate (now 8,000 acres). Today, the estate is owned by Vanderbilt's grandson, William A.V. Cecil, and includes the nation's most visited winery, a luxury inn, retail shops, outdoor center and fine restaurants.

Through Biltmore For Your Home, consumers are able to experience both the classic designs incorporated in George Vanderbilt's collection of art and furnishings as well as the relaxed enjoyment of fine country living. The products will enhance both home and garden, with an attention to quality which the Vanderbilts would have expected and appreciated.
